    KC Resort & Over Water Villas wins Regional Golden HAPA Awards 2011-2013

    Koh Samui, Thailand - KC Resort & Over Water Villas, one of the most extravagant resorts on Koh Samui  has won the golden awards for international hospitality services from HAPA, “Best 10 in Asia Awards” for 2011 – 2013 regional series.

    KC Resort & Over Water Villas is the Gold Winner for HAPA “Resort of the Year” and the Gold Winner for HAPA “Signature Luxury Resort”. The HAPA Golden Awards are significant in the view of International Hospitality Services series.

    KC Hotels & Resorts welcomes Ms.Ponntip Ponsak as new assistant PR & Sales manager

    Koh Samui, Thailand – KC Resort & Over Water Villas welcomes the new assistant PR & Sales manager, Ms.Ponntip Ponsak.



    Ms.Ponntip holds MSc degree in marketing and BBA in integrated business administration, she collected her experiences through her university period with event jobs and training experiences. She also shows know-how in hotel management jobs in customer relations received within Grand Hyatt Erawan, Holiday Inn Sukhumvit, Prathumwan Princess, Twin Towers Bangkok and Asia Hotel Bangkok for Lions Club international 91st convention in Bangkok.

    Throughout her experiences and studies, she enjoyed the actions of a corporation in promoting goodwill between itself and the public, the community, employees, and customers. Seeing the results of customers’ satisfaction is the first and highest goal of what hoteliers should expect when they enter their inputs into the process.

    KC Hotels & Resorts welcomes Mr. Andras Z. Ossko


    KC Hotels & Resorts welcomes Mr. Andras Z. Ossko as new assistant F&B manager.

    Koh Samui, Thailand – KC Resort & Over Water Villas, a contemporary designed resort with one of the best and award winning restaurants on Koh Samui, The View Restaurant & Wine Lounge, welcomes the new assistant F&B manager, Mr.Andras Zeno Ossko.

    Mr.Ossko, with a Hospitality Management and Economics degree in hotel management, has started his career at different areas of hospitality, catering and event organizing. He is also certified with an International Barista, Bartender and Bar management diploma.

    Mr.Ossko started his career at international hotel and restaurant trainee programs in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Thailand. Later he joined both food and beverage companies and hospitality industry, The Coca-Cola Company, Atrium Hyatt, Boscolo New York Palace to gain experiences and improving on his career. Andras is a great value added to the KC Resort & Over Water Villas' team.

    “I can confirm that Samui is my official hometown from now on. I am very happy and proud to work with such a professional team and in such a gorgeous environment.     KC Hotels & Resorts welcomes Mr. Plawas Boonsai as Director of Sales

    Bangkok, Thailand – KC Hotels & Resorts welcomes the Director of Sales, Mr.Plawas Boonsai.

    Mr.Plawas, with his 15 years of experience in hospitality, is a proficient advisor in Sales and Marketing of the business. Holding a BS in Hotel & Tourism Management from Concorde University and a certificate in Front Office Procedure from The Educational Institute of American Hotel & Motel Association, USA, carried him forward to become well-trained and skillful in this area.

    Mr.Plawas started his career as sales manager in 1996 at Sofitel Silom (Monarch Lee Garden). Then he continued onwards at Sofitel Centara, Rose Garden Riverside, Travel Choices Group (Hotel Management Company) and recently at KC Hotels & Resorts as he joined us in May 2011.

    Koh Samui, Thailand – KC Resort & Over Water Villas welcomes the new Executive Assistant Manager, Ms. Umpaporn Trakoontripop.


    Ms. Umpaporn brings more than twenty years of innovative executive experience in hospitality, in the areas customer relation management and human resources, hotel and program management. She is an innovator in Thai’s hospitality for how she has developed with many well-branded properties since their early launches. She also has held executive positions at many leading properties in the hospitality industry.

    Ms. Umpaporn has been a part many leading hotels, 8 years with Six Senses Hideaway from Hua Hin to Koh Samui, Hilton Hua Hin, Sofitel Hua Hin, Regent Cha-am and many more. Now she lives in Koh Samui, Suratthani, with her new family, KC Resort & Over Water Villas team.

    KC Resort & Over Water Villas wins three HAPA awards 2011-2013


    Koh Samui, Thailand - KC Resort & Over Water Villas, one of the most extravagant resorts on Koh Samui  has won three awards from HAPA, “Best 10 in Asia Awards”  for 2011 – 2013 regional series.
    KC Resort & Over Water Villas has won the Platinum Winner, HAPA “Most Chic All-Day Dining” for “The View Restaurant and Wine Lounge”, the HAPA “Signature Luxury Resort” and the HAPA “Resort of the Year” for this event.

    HOSPITALITY ASIA PLATINUM AWARDS (HAPA) 2011 was held in Singapore 17-18 November, 2011. The event was the biggest hospitality event of the year with many winning candidates from all over Asia.

    The awards were visited by our Executive Chef, Khun Saowakit Preeprem and Area General Manager, Mr. Andreas Kraemer. We hope to be back in two years.”
